About Danny Razo - Your Immigration Attorney

Attorney Danny Razo was born in Phoenix, Arizona. 
Mr. Razo is a graduate of the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) Class of 2000 and Texas Tech School of Law Class of 2003. He has also served as President of El Paso Texas Young Lawyers Association, Mexican American Bar Association of El Paso and the Mexican American Bar Association of Texas, and a Board of Director with Texas Young Lawyers Association as well.

Mr. Razo feels that his biggest passion is public service. He began his legal career serving the low-income population of El Paso, Texas at Diocesan Migrant and Refugee Services, Inc. (DMRS) as their Senior Staff Attorney.  Mr. Razo went on to become the Pro-Bono Coordinator with Las Americas Immigrant Advocacy Center.  Finally in 2007, Mr. Razo opened the Law Office of Danny Razo, which included representation in United States Immigration matters, but in addition to Criminal Defense in the areas of State, Federal and Juvenile Court.  Hon. Judge Sam Medrano of the 409th District Court appointed Mr. Razo to the Juvenile Drug Court program because of Mr. Razo’s incredible knowledge base. In spring of 2016 Mr. Razo was invited to be a law teacher at the Prestigious Law Magnet Program of America High School in the Socorro Independent School District.  The summer of 2016 he was invited to be a professor at the University of Texas at El Paso High School Law Camp.

Mr. Razo was an outstanding young lawyer of El Paso in 2010.  The following year in 2011, he was awarded outstanding Pro Bono Attorney of El Paso.  In 2017, he was awarded for outstanding El Paso Mexican American Bar Association Member for his work as Creator of the Borderland Teen Court.  Recently Mr. Razo was appointed Chair of the Western Region of Texas Unauthorized Practice of Law Committee.
 
Mr. Razo’s greatest memories of his career are his abilities in taking what most attorneys consider the most difficult cases possible and achieving success.  In certain cases Mr. Razo has been able to undo removal orders and have a client be granted a waiver.  Mr. Razo has had clients who were deported but under his representation be granted derivative citizenship.
 
Mr. Razo is a hard working lawyer who is always working for his clients because he cares for them.
